We Are Overcomers!

I went outside for a walk one night discouraged and felt God asking me again why I think He put me on this street. He took me to the end of the street to remind me of the reason why we live on this street!

At the end of my street is the typical green street sign that reads…. Victory

I noticed something about the sign I never saw before. It was how the light reflected off the sign. I tilted my head one way –it said victory and then tilted the other way–you couldn’t see victory anymore (totally disappeared)– but i saw Ridgewood Ave instead (because the paint was scraped off and letters were a little raised like a license plate).

It was the weirdest thing–I felt like God was saying that– The battle and struggles are rough and looks like you will lose or give up– but it all depends on how you look at it…. Victory is mine! Sometimes you will see the victory and other times it may not seem evident…. But the victory is yours in Jesus– because we are overcomers! Believe God will bring it.

God brings me to the meeting place at the victory sign– down the street often to remind me of the reason he put me on this street! To believe him for victory in this city! Transforming everything in our path!
