Do Apologetics Help?

Remember when you were a kid and your parents said utterly ridiculous things like, “eat your vegetables and you’ll grow up big and strong.” My parents used all kinds of methods to get me to eat vegetables. They new how important it was that I learn to eat in a healthy manner. Some of those methods worked, but most of them didn’t.

I’m not a vegetable fan (unless you count potatoes), but over the years I have figured out how to eat them.

When picking out Jelly Bellies or a religion some tend to lean toward their favorite flavors. When it comes to eternal life there is only one clear choice…faith in Jesus Christ alone. So what flavor are you peddling religion or a relationship?

Discussion and Logic (and lack thereof)

Last night I went to Skinner's Pub with a few friends.

We talked about politics and religion - oh, and the thread count of our sheets. We had some great conversation.

One of my friends (he considers himself an unbeliever) said that one of the reasons he has a lot of trouble with Christianity is the lack of logic. He said that he finds it nearly impossible to follow many Christian's theology in a logical manner.
